Franchising, they say, is the multiplication of success. A company with a successful business concept allows independent operators to use it in their own company 1:1. Franchising is the license for that business concept.

The operator (“franchisee”) can use the business concept’s success for themselves. But, at the same time, like every self-employed person, they bear the entrepreneurial risk. However, franchisees are continuously supported by the central office (“franchisor”). This creates a strong community, a network, and a franchise system that customers perceive as a uniform “chain”.
